Object description
Justyna Zuzanna Szaszkiewicz was a wife of Karol Szaszkiewicz. Her mother was Mykhailyna from the Bаwоrowski Dulski family. The half-length portrait of Justyna follows the rules of canonical ceremonial portraits of the 18th century where a person is presented in a formal pose. The portrait details the woman's attire and jewellery: a décolleté dress with lace, decorated with flowers in the centre, and a tall wig with ostrich feathers.
