Object description
A waist-length portrait of a young man in a wig is framed within an oval. The head of the portrayed man is slightly turned to the right, with his gaze directed at the viewer. The man is wearing a green velvet camisole with large brown buttons and a black standing collar, beneath which a white jabot is visible.
Inscriptions
On the reverse, there is an inscription: "Łukasz Uruski Szambelan".
Portrayed person
- The name of the person portrayed
- Lukasz Uruski of the Sas coat of arms was the brother of Tomasz Adam Uruski (1744–1792), chamberlain to the Polish King Stanislaw August Poniatowski. After his brother's death, he succeeded him in the position and inherited the estates in the Vinnytsia region (Luchynchyk and Suhaky villages).
