Object description
Sculptural composition in an oval frame, executed in an academic style, in relief, which transitions into a round sculpture in interpretation of individual figures. In the centre is the Saviour crucified on the cross; at his feet is one of the women, Mary Magdalene. On the right is Apostle John, standing with his hands folded in prayer. On the left is Mary, mother of Jesus, depicted with her eyes downward, and her sister Mary of Clopas. In the background, a cloudy sky is depicted in bas-relief; below, the bottom part of Mount Calvary is depicted.
