Object description
A bust sculpture portrait of a young Northern Italian nobleman (aristocrat). The man’s head with long wavy hair and a youthful, surprised face is turned upward to the right. He is depicted wearing a blouse crossed with ribbons on the chest, a collar decorated with rosettes, and a pelerine on the right shoulder. On the left shoulder of the young man is a rounded profile. This sculpture represents the work of a highly skilled master of the early Renaissance.
