Object description
This is a portrait of a woman in a green dress who is depicted in the left-hand profile. The woman sits on a backed chair with her hands on her knees; she holds flowers in her left hand. The woman has fair hair embedded in a high hairstyle; there is a round earring in her ear. Below, on either side of the painting, there are two bearded fauns with musical instruments in their hands; their mouths are open as if they are singing. In the upper right corner, there is the painter's signature: "J. Malczewski/1905".
